Maternity Photography Session FAQ's

Where is the session held?

Sessions are held at my home studio in Hove, East Sussex or at a nearby outdoor location.

When is the best time to do a maternity session?

Some time between your 32nd-36th week of pregnancy in my opinion but not as a strict rule. Bump will be beautifully pronounced by then and you’ll hopefully still be comfortable.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Ideally all sessions should be booked around a month in advance to allow time to plan. However if you are also interested in a newborn session, booking is advised around your 20 week scan as spaces are limited and book up months in advance.

Who can come to the session?

It’s best if only the people being photographed be at the session. This can include siblings at no extra charge and is a great way for older children to bond with their new baby brother or sister!

How long does a session take?

Maternity sessions usually take around an hour to achieve a great variety of images of your beautiful bump however may take longer if siblings are included.

How do I select my final images and package?

You will be sent an online proofing galley around 2-3 weeks after your session.  The gallery is open for 7 days to allow you to select your package and images for printing.  Once I have your order the watermark is removed from purchased images.  Your downloadable gallery is open for 14 days.
